Shiro Games has announced that their upcoming RTS game Dune: Spice Wars will launch into Steam Early Access on April 26. Along with the release date announcement, the devs have revealed the fourth playable faction in the Fremen.
Joining the other factions for Early Access, the Fremen are experts in holding military influence over a large territory. This is thanks to their ability to use sandworms to cross long distances, as well as their unique Kulon Caravans unit, which function as a mobile camp to heal and resupply other units. Also, you’ll run into less sandworms while planning your operations during the campaign as the Fremen, as well as have an improved ability to ally with hidden Sietches (neutral native settlements).

Dune: Spice Wars will first launch into Early Access on Steam, with several updates planned thereafter. These include the introduction of multiplayer, more factions, and a full campaign.
