Dwayne Johnson is clearly committed to making as many movies as he’s had matches in his pro wrestling career, and up next he’s teasing another video game adaptation for the screen.
Johnson, who has starred in big screen adaptations of video games including Doom and Rampage, teases the mysterious upcoming project in a new chat with Men’s Journal.
The wrestler-turned-Hollywood star teases, “We’re going to bring one of the biggest, most badass games to the screen–one that I’ve played for years.”
“I can’t tell you which game in particular we’re doing, but there will be an announcement this year. I’m really excited to bring it to fans around the world. Of course we’re going to do right by our gamer friends—but really we’re just going to make a great movie,” he adds.
Twitter is currently lighting up with guesses under the #DwayneJohnson hashtag, with games including Gears of War, God of War, Fortnite, and Grand Theft Auto being mentioned.
