Set in the post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains, Elevation is headed into theaters courtesy of Vertical on November 8, 2024, and the full official trailer has been released today.
Anthony Mackie, Morena Baccarin, and Maddie Hasson star in Elevation, which looks to be another A Quiet Place type movie that also calls to mind this year’s Arcadian.
Watch the trailer for director George Nolfi’s (The Banker) new movie below.
In the upcoming monster movie, “A single father (Anthony Mackie) and two women venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy.”
Here’s the full official synopsis: “The world has changed. The only habitable place left for humanity is in the high mountains, above 8000 feet. Go below 8000 feet, and waiting for you are the very creatures that killed 95% of the human population less than three years ago. But what happens if — to save the life of his young son — a father (Anthony Mackie) is forced to do just that: to venture below “The Line” with two others, a scientist he despises (Morena Baccarin), but who just might hold the key to defeating the monsters, and a young woman (Maddie Hasson), determined to keep them both alive long enough to save the human race.”
Elevation is produced by Brad Fuller, p.g.a. John Glenn, George Nolfi, p.g.a., Joel Viertel, Jeremy Kipp Walker, Natalie Sellers, Alex Black, and Anthony Mackie.
John Glenn, Jacob Roman, and Kenny Ryan wrote the screenplay.
