Epic in scale and length, the final two episodes of “Stranger Things 4” are on the way with “Volume 2” this Friday, July 1, and Netflix has debuted a brand new official poster today.
“Stranger Things 4: Volume 2” is promising an epic final battle between Eleven and Vecna, the monster she had a hand in creating, and this art for the final two episodes essentially treats them as if they’re one big ole “Stranger Things” movie. And that’s quite fitting because those two episodes run nearly 4 hours long, with the season finale just about 2.5 hours long by itself!
Check out the official “Stranger Things 4” art below.
Meagan Navarro writes in her “Volume 1” review for BD, “As of now, season four zips along through thrilling set pieces and wildly different story arcs at a rapid enough clip to keep you entertained and invested, even as you begin to feel the immense weight of its ever-growing mythology and repeating patterns.” Stay tuned for Meagan’s “Volume 2” thoughts real soon.
Here’s the official plot synopsis for Season 4…
“It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier.
“In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
