Over a year after debuting on Hulu, director Dan Trachtenberg’s excellent horror movie Prey is finally being released on physical media, Bloody Disgusting has learned this morning.
Prey will be released on 4K and Blu-ray on October 3, 2023! Best Buy will be getting a SteelBook Exclusive version of the release, and you’ll find that artwork below.

Amber Midthunder stars in Hulu’s Prey as a Comanche woman who goes against gender norms and traditions to become a warrior, bravely taking down a Predator in the process.
Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey is the story of Naru. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.
Prey is nominated for a whopping SIX Emmy Awards this year, including “Outstanding TV Movie,” as well as “Writing,” “Directing,” “Editing,” and “Music Composition.”
