Developer The Farm 51’s Chernobylite has finally made it to next-gen systems today. The sci-fi horror game is available now on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, as well as an Enhanced Version for the PC via Steam. Owners of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions can upgrade for free to the PS5 and Xbox Series versions, while existing PC owners also get Chrenobylite Enhanced Edition for free via upgrade.

On top of the free Enhanced Version upgrade for PC, players will also be able to enjoy the free DLC packs, with consoles getting the DLC later this Summer. The Season One DLC introduces a new free mission titled ”Memories of You” full of original collectables to discover, the free Silent Assassin crossbow, as well as paid the Blue Flames cosmetic item pack including clown masks, flame base equipment effects, among others. Three more content additions are planned for the rest of 2022, with the next in line for release titled Season Two, offering a story expansion, new map to explore, and side quests, for free in Q2 2022 for PC first.
Meanwhile, the PS5 and Xbox Series versions of Chernobylite include two new graphic profiles: 4K (Dynamic) 30 FPS and 1080p (Ultra Details) 60 FPS. Along with that, players will also be able to enjoy ray tracing and improved visuals.
