‘Evil Dead Rise’ Clip – This Is What Family Breakfast Looks Like in the World of ‘The Evil Dead’

Tickets for Evil Dead Rise are on sale now, and another brand new clip has been unleashed today. This one comes courtesy of Fandango, and it expands upon a scene we’ve seen snippets of in the film’s various trailers. While cooking breakfast for her family, Ellie finds herself possessed by an evil force. Her children and sister Beth look on in absolute horror.

Evil Dead Rise is a true family affair, with the franchise leaving behind the iconic cabin in the woods and this time around wreaking havoc inside a cramped apartment building.

Director Lee Cronin’s (The Hole in the Ground) Evil Dead Rise is coming exclusively to theaters on April 21, 2023. Gabrielle Echols (Reminiscence), Morgan Davies (The End) and Nell Fisher (Splendid Isolation) star alongside Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for Evil Dead Rise…

“In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.”

Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Robert Tapert are producing Evil Dead Rise. According to Campbell, the three have been “very involved” in the project every step of the way.
