If you’re anything like me, one of the first things you’ll want to do in Evil Dead: The Game is explore the Knowby Cabin, of course the iconic location from the first two movies. The cabin has indeed been recreated in movie-accurate detail within the game, and you can explore the location whether you’re playing multi-player matches or tackling single-player challenges.
If you really want to explore the cabin without any enemies distracting you, you’ll want to play Chapter 1 of the single-player missions, which puts you directly into the Knowby Cabin, as Ash, without an enemy in sight. This allows you walk around the cabin and take in all the details. But you can have even more fun with the cabin in the multi-player matches…
In those matches, you’re given the choice between playing as a human survivor or as one of the franchise’s main villains, the latter option allowing you to take control of the evil force and all that it’s capable of unleashing. It’s an extra fun aspect of the game, essentially putting you in the driver’s seat and piloting the camera around the map as if you’re Sam Raimi himself.
When you’re in charge of the evil force in Evil Dead: The Game, you’re able to take possession of things including cars and trees, and there’s a special Easter Egg found within the cabin.
Yes, you can take possession of the laughing deer head within the Knowby Cabin location, which will require a spend of 15 points. You can then spit blood onto the survivors.
Check out the fun Evil Dead: The Game Easter Egg in action below and try it for yourself next time you play. And make sure to explore the Knowby Cabin while you’re hanging around!
