A year after devastating wildfires forced the team to evacuate the Olympic Peninsula, right as they unearthed curious new evidence, acclaimed primatologist Dr. Mireya Mayor and Bigfoot experts Bryce Johnson, Ronny LeBlanc, and Russell Acord return to Washington State for Season 3 of “Expedition Bigfoot”.
Currently airing Sundays on Travel Channel, in addition to streaming on discovery+, the latest season of the docuseries spans 16 one-hour episodes that also include the pre- and post-season specials that recap all the evidence collected.
Episode 6, “Return to Lake Fear”, airs this week and it’s not to be missed. In fact, it’s in this episode that the team captures some great Bigfoot footage that’s said to be the “highlight of the season.”
“The last thing that I expected was to see something running from the drone…on two legs,” exclaimed Ronny LeBlanc.
“I’m looking for answers,” added Dr. Mireya Mayor. “If I see or hear something I am always going to try and get as close as possible.”
“We are capturing some of the most amazing footage of Bigfoot ever seen,” Johnson exclaimed, while Acord asks the big question: “This is another perfect example of having to face things that I don’t necessarily buy into, but this thermal right in front of Mireya couldn’t be seen with the naked eye in direct light… how is that possible?”
Check out a teaser of the big discovery in the following clip and tune into Episode 6, “Return to Lake Fear”, this Sunday, April 24th at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST.
