With A Plague Tale: Requiem due out later this year, publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Asobo Studio have released a new gameplay trailer for their follow-up to the 2019 original. While not focusing on an extended section of gameplay, the trailer for Requiem does show off the varied environments that players will travel in their quest.
After escaping their devastated homeland, Amicia and Hugo travel far south, to new regions and vibrant cities. There, they attempt to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse. But when Hugo’s powers reawaken, death and destruction return in a flood of devouring rats. Forced to flee once more, the siblings place their hopes in a prophesied island that may hold the key to saving Hugo.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
