In case you were wondering either how many people want a Bloodborne sequel or a port of Bloodborne to show up on PC, you can look at the response to Lilith Walther’s Bloodborne PSX. Released this past Monday, the free-to-play demake racked up over 100,000 downloads in under 24 hours. It now stands at over 108k, if you’re curious.
Walther followed this news up with a couple of quick updates to the game that fixed several bugs. And luckily, saves from the previous version of the game do carry over.
Update 1.03 is out! Here's the bug fix list:
Eileen vanishing mid fight at dry dock
Sprint jumping 'off' ladder
Item drops not spawning in a specific circumstance at end
Cleric Beast falling off bridge
Minor cheat code bugs

If that’s not enough, if you’d still like some more modern aspects to the PS1 gameplay, one fan has created a mod for Bloodborne PSX that adds widescreen and ray tracing. You can check out this mod in action (as well as download it) from the accompanying YouTube video.
Neither From Software or Sony have commented on or acknowledged the demake as of yet, but you can just add it to the pile when it comes to fans clamoring for another entry.
And just in case you needed another reason to play a free game, check out Aaron’s take on Bloodborne PSX from this morning.
