The spookiest time of the year is upon us and AMC has taken to social media to officially tease the return of “FearFest,” their annual block of Halloween season programming.
“Spooky season is right around the corner and your fave fears are coming back,” AMC tweets this afternoon. “Get ready for #FearFest all October long only on AMC.”
They’ve also shared a short teaser for this year’s “FearFest” celebration, which includes clips from the Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, Halloween, and A Nightmare on Elm Street franchises.
Other films featured in the video include Creepshow, Poltergeist, The Thing and The Shining.
It’s worth noting here that last year’s “FearFest” ran throughout both September and October, but it looks like this year’s celebration is back to being a month-long affair. That said, you can expect tricks and treats on the AMC-owned Shudder in both September and October.
Stay tuned for the full “FearFest 2024” programming lineup in the coming weeks.
