This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez collab From Dusk Till Dawn, a true mashup of styles from two of the coolest filmmakers out there. The 1996 vampire film notably put the big screen spotlight on a young George Clooney, who starred alongside Tarantino, Harvey Keitel, Salma Hayek and of course, Tom Savini.
From Dusk Till Dawn spawned two sequels and a television series that ran for three seasons, and now a 4K Ultra HD release of the 1996 movie is on the way in time for Halloween.
From Dusk Till Dawn comes to 4K Ultra HD for the very first time on October 26, 2021, and it looks like a Steelbook edition of the release will be exclusively available at Target.
“I just finished a color correction for a 4K version. It looks gorgeous. It was cool to see. I can’t wait for that to come out to celebrate the anniversary,” Rodriguez recently teased.
Thanks to James from gothic metal band Dead Roses for the tip.
Last we heard, a From Dusk Till Dawn animated series is also in the works.
