It won’t be long before we get our hands on Black Forest Games’ Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed. And to tout some of the enhancements to the original game, the devs have released a new trailer focusing on the game’s co-op mode.
Much like in the 2006 original, players will be able to enjoy Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed‘s full story in local two-player split-screen cooperative play. Of course, if you’re looking to break out and have more multiplayer fun, there’s also the recently-released Destroy All Humans! – Clone Carnage, the standalone DLC that comes with four modes (Rampage, Armageddon, Race, and Abduction), six maps, and up to four-player multiplayer.
And if you’re a sucker for Collector’s Editions, the “Second Coming Edition” for Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed should fill that niche. Available for pre-order now, this limited Collector’s Edition includes Clone Carnage (which you can also get if you pre-order), as well as several DLC skin packs for Reprobed. The “Second Coming Edition” also includes a 27.6 inch / 70 cm high Crypto-figurine, an “Arkwobbler” (a wobble-statue of the great Arkvoodle), a vintage embossed metal plate of Crypto, artbook, the orchestral score on CD and the game itself for either PC or consoles. Limited to 3700 units worldwide, this will destroy all wallets with its $399.99 USD price tag.
Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on August 30.
