Those looking for a little more in terms of gameplay from Quantum Error now have more to chew on, thanks to TeamKill Media’s official gameplay trailer for their upcoming cosmic horror shooter. Along with showing off more of the eerie atmosphere of the offshore Monad Quantum Research Facility, the trailer also shows off the otherworldly monsters you’ll be taking on in Quantum Error, as well as the firepower you’ll be using to dispatch said monsters.
Set to launch on November 3rd for PlayStation, with the Xbox and PC versions coming at a later date, Quantum Error takes place in the future, where the United Nations of America has integrated AI into everyday life. Monad, a powerful tech company, has created the Advanced Retinal Global Unity System, ARGUS, to activate and operate this AI, which is mandatory for all people on earth. People are divided by necessary and unnecessary, and will be activated or not activated according to their professions. Naturally, this results in opposition from and the formation of militant groups.
When the Monad Quantum Research Facility—30 miles off the shore of California—is attacked by an unknown entity, the Garboa Fire Dept in San Francisco springs into action. Fire Chief Sturgis answers the call and sends you—Captain Jacob Thomas—and your partner Shane Costa and a crew by helicopter to the Monad Facility.
Pre-orders are now open via the official site, with Early Access beginning on Halloween.
