From Saban Films and writer/director Viljar Bøe, the bizarre new genre movie Good Boy is now playing in select theaters, and it was also released on Digital outlets today, September 8.
In the film, “Sigrid thinks she’s met her perfect match with the charming and handsome Christian, but there is one catch- he lives with a man who acts like his pet dog.
“Trying to be open-minded, Sigrid continues the relationship but soon notices an insidious under-tone to Christian. Maybe ‘puppy play’ isn’t as innocent as it seems.”
In the exclusive clip you can watch below to whet your appetite, it becomes clear that the man in the dog costume isn’t exactly a willing participant in this twisted game.
“I’d rather get killed than get caught escaping from him,” the man tells Sigrid while she’s taking him out for a walk. “There’s no point in running. He’s prepared for that.”
Check out the clip below, along with the previously released trailer.
Gard Løkke, Katrine Lovise Øpstad Fredriksen, Amalie Willoch Njaastad, and Nicolai Narvesen Lied star in Good Boy, rated “R” for “violent content and language.”
Viljar Bøe previously directed the films Til Freddy (2020) and Theodor (2022).
