Akupara Games and developer Clover Bite’s “Soulslike Metroidvania” GRIME is out today. And with it, a new launch trailer that unlike the cinematic trailer from last week, feels more like an epic opening cutscene. Not that that’s a bad thing.
The story has you “squeezed into existence” from unusual material that has collapsed in on itself. Born into an alien world, you must survive the harsh world by crushing your foes with living weapons that mutate form and function. After which, you then consume their remains with a black hole to strengthen yourself “as you break apart a world of anatomical horror and intrigue.”
GRIME is out now for PC via Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and Google Stadia for $24.99.
