Up until now, we’ve not seen the Gas Station map for the upcoming Texas Chain Saw Massacre game (well, other than the overview a few months back).Obviously, that changes now, as Gun Interactive has taken to Twitter and revealed the first glimpse of the map, which immediately looks like a scary good time.
It’s not much, but what’s here looks like it’ll be fun and frightening. In case you need a refresher, the Gas Station isn’t the only map in which you’ll be hunting (or being hunted) in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. You’ve also got the Family House and the Slaughterhouse so far, the former of which was given a great overview accompanied by the game’s score by Ross Tregenza (who also did the score for Deathloop, Cyberpunk 2077 and Wolfenstein: Youngblood).
And in case you were wondering (at least one fan was), pre-orders are not available yet for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. But as always, stay tuned for more news on this in the future.
Currently, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is aiming for a 2023 release on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. The game will also be launching into Game Pass on Xbox and PC.
There’s a lot more to the Gas Station map than a couple dry tanks and some barbecue…
Have a first glimpse at the backlot of this infamous location. pic.twitter.com/47nUdz7ZMB
