Back in 2019, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place) wrote and directed the slasher movie Haunt, which has become a Halloween favorite here in the horror community. Set on a Halloween night, it follows a group of friends who encounter a haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night, of course, turns deadly for the group.
Are there any plans for the storyline to continue in a Haunt sequel? During a Reddit AMA this week, Beck and Woods broke the news that Haunt 2 talks are indeed taking place!
Beck and Woods responded to a fan over on Reddit, “We can confirm that conversations for a Haunt sequel are officially underway. Happy (early) Halloween!!”
Up next from Scott Beck and Bryan Woods is the Adam Driver dinosaur movie 65, which the duo wrote and directed. That film is coming to theaters on Friday, March 10, 2023.
Stay tuned for more on Haunt 2 as we learn it.
