Actor Henry Winkler of course played Principal Arthur Himbry in Wes Craven’s Scream, a character who was later immortalized with a statue that’s briefly seen on display in Scream 4. All these years later, THR reports, Winkler is parting with his own personal Ghostface mask.
As part of an auction “that will take place December 8 at Bonhams Los Angeles,” which will also include one of the Fonz’s iconic leather jackets from “Happy Days,” Winkler will be auctioning off one of two Ghostface masks that he took home from the ’90s production.
Winkler explains that during a recent spring cleaning session, he came across “two masks from Scream that I cut onscreen and the prop people gave me them because they weren’t going to be used again.” THR adds, “Winkler, who appeared as Principal Himbry in the 1996 film, is selling one of the Scream Ghostface masks; it has an estimate of $20,000 to $30,000.”
