Back in January, Sony Interactive Entertainment España and Path Games released the “Long Night Edition” of Insomnis for the PlayStation 4. Now, Path Games has announced that Insomnis will be receiving an enhanced version on the PlayStation 5 on May 31st, as well as a physical European release.
Published by Meridiem Games, the physical version of Insomnis will feature a special cover, a set of memory playing cards that are also showcased in-game, plus an artbook detailing all of the concept art that was used for the game’s creation. That’s on top of the PlayStation 5 enhancements for Insomnis, which include 4K graphics and enhanced textures, faster loading times, dynamic shadows, and DualSense haptic feedback and 3D audio.
The story for Insomnis sees players assume the role of Joe Castevet, who just so happens to have inherited Castevet manor from his grandfather. Unfortunately for Joe, no one told him about the mansion being haunted. In order to get out alive, Joe will have to explore the mansion and uncover his family’s dark past using a variety of items to solve puzzles contained within the mansion’s walls.
Insomnis is also available on PC via Steam.
