AOne Games and publisher Eastasiasoft have announced that their horror-themed fighter Omen of Sorrow will be receiving releases on the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. In addition, the game will also receive revised story mode content, new endings added to its arcade mode, and crossplay multiplayer will be featured across all versions of the game published by Eastasiasoft.
No release date has been announced for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch version. However, the previously-released Xbox One version of Omen of Sorrow will receive the same updated content via a free update. As for the other versions, as pointed out by Gematsu, the PlayStation 4 version of the game is published by Soedesco, and the Epic Games Store version is self-published by the AOne Games. Meaning, it’s unclear if these versions will be receiving the same updates.
Meanwhile, Eastasiasoft will have pre-orders for physical copies of the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions of Omen of Sorrow available on February 24 at 7am PT/ 10am ET, courtesy of Play-Asia. There will also be a Limited Edition variant for the PS5 and Switch that includes a Collector’s Box, a copy of the game (region free), manual, soundtrack and numbered certificate.
There’s also still no word on the Steam version of the game, which still lists it as “coming soon”.
