Last Friday brought the season four premiere of “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs,” which featured the 100th screening since Joe Bob first arrived at Shudder in the Summer of 2018.
The celebration included many surprises and special guests, including fellow horror host Svengoolie!
Long-time horror host Rich Koz, aka Svengoolie, crossed networks and joined fellow host Joe Bob Briggs to ring in the momentous occasion. Talk about horror history in the making, with two horror host titans discussing the genre while hosting George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead.
In this exclusive clip below, Koz details how he assumed the mantle from Jerry G. Bishop and evolved the character into what he is today.
“The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs” got off to a momentous start, but look for new double features presented by the world’s foremost drive-in movie critic every Friday. This season features “a wide array of fan favorites, obscure cult oddities, and surprise guests, with Briggs interrupting the films to expound upon their merits, histories, and significance to genre cinema.”
