Hungry for the “Halo” TV Series Trailer? It’s Premiering This Sunday!

Fans of the “Halo” video games have been patiently waiting for the official trailer for the upcoming TV series, which is headed to the Paramount+ streaming service later this year.

When can you expect it? We’ve learned this week that the “Halo” TV series trailer will debut this Sunday, “during halftime of the AFC Championship Game” on CBS and Paramount+!

Suit up Spartans, the wait is almost over….

Halo will take place in the universe that first came to be in 2001, dramatizing an epic 26th century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.

“The show will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.”

Pablo Schreiber (“American Gods”) has been set to star as Master Chief in the series, with Danny Sapani (“Penny Dreadful”), Olive Gray (“Half Moon Investigations”) and Charlie Murphy (“Peaky Blinders”) also set as series regulars. Natascha McElhone (Californication”) and Emmy nominee Bokeem Woodbine (“Fargo”) recently landed lead roles alongside Schreiber, and the cast also includes Shabana Azmi (Fire), Bentley Kalu (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Natasha Culzac (“The Witcher”), Kate Kennedy (Catastrophe”) and Yerin Ha (Reef Break).

The project, produced by 343 Industries and Amblin Television, is said to be incredibly ambitious, promising to “enthrall fans while also drawing the uninitiated into a world of complex characters that populate this unique universe.”

Otto Bathurst is on board to direct. Kyle Killen and Steven Kane are showrunners.
