The third season of “Yellowjackets” is expected to arrive on Paramount+ With Showtime next year, and we’ve learned this week that Joel McHale (Becky) has joined the cast.
McHale has been announced for a guest starring role in the new season.
Production on “Yellowjackets” Season 3 is well underway.
Ashley Lyle & Bart Nickerson created the hit series, while Jonathan Lisco is the showrunner.
“Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.”
The show’s cast includes Melanie Lynskey (“The Last of Us”), Tawny Cypress (Inez & Doug & Kira), Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers), Christina Ricci (“Wednesday”), Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), Lauren Ambrose (“Servant”) and Simone Kessell (“Obi-Wan”).
