Last Saturday, I was driving up my road and I accidentally ran over a rooster!!! Ick! Immediately, I texted my husband. And this was his response. He knows that I have a hard time with the thought of animals being killed or slaughtered. I’m not a vegetarian but I still hate to see it. I had to share his very considerate response. To top it off, when he left home he removed the rooster carcass from the road so that I wouldn’t have to see it again.
