Missed out on the Steam Next Fest demo for their upcoming Soulslike Lies of P? No need to worry, as developer NEOWIZ has announced that thanks to fan enthusiasm, the demo’s availability has “been extended indefinitely” ahead of the full launch of full launch of Lies of P this September.
The demo, which is also available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series, gives players early access to the first two chapters of Lies of P, including boss encounters, introductions to key characters, and the opportunity to explore the city of Krat.
According to the press release, the response to the demo has been very positive, earning user review scores of 4.3/5 on Xbox, and resulted in the demo being one of the top 100 most-played games on Steam worldwide. Most recently, the demo reached the top spot on Steam’s “Daily Active Demo Players” and “Most Wishlisted Upcoming Games” categories as part of Steam Next Fest.
Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is set in the dark, Belle Époque-inspired city of Krat. Once a beautiful city, Krat has become a living nightmare as deadly puppets run amok and a plague sweeps the land. You play as P, a puppet who must fight his way through the city on his unrelenting journey to find Geppetto and finally become human.
Lies of P will arrive on PC and consoles on September 19th. There will also be a physical edition of the game available on Xbox and PlayStation.
