‘Lonesome Days, Savage Nights: The Manning Files Vol. 2’ Graphic Novel Continues Noir Tale of Werewolf Detective

Get ready to howl at the moon. Out today from indie publisher TKO Studios is Lonesome Days, Savage Nights: The Manning Files Vol. 2, a continuation of hardboiled crime thriller with a supernatural twist.

The graphic novel follows the exploits of a private detective who also happens to be a werewolf. Or rather, private detective Stu Manning discovers how being a werewolf can make his job easier and more complicated at once.

Best-selling creator and Bram Stoker Award nominee Salvatore Simeone (Lonesome Days Savage Nights) and artist Szymon Kudranski (The Punisher) returns to the world of “Stu Manning, the hard-luck private detective with a beast of a secret. After the loss of his love Audrey and defeating a massive crime ring, Stu is back to wandering the streets of Central City at night — keeping his inner monster’s thirst for blood in check. But when tech giant and billionaire-owned Rush Corp arrives, citizens begin to disappear and bodies start piling up. It us up to Manning and
his friends, a spirited detective and a rookie cop, to save the city. As they uncover a secret that Rush would spare no expense to keep, Manning is in a race to save his friends and keep himself from going over the edge. Will the wolf prevail over Rush, or over Manning himself? A supernatural crime noir unlike any other werewolf tale.”

Lonesome Days, Savage Nights: The Manning Files Vol. 1 published in late 2020 and was written by Steven Niles (30 Days of Night) and Salvatore Simeone and drawn by Szymon Kudranski.

Since 2018, TKO Presents has published some of the industry’s most critically acclaimed graphic novels by top creators, including Garth Ennis (The Boys), Jeff Lemire (Sweet Tooth), Roxane Gay (Hunger) and many more.
