NEON’s Longlegs is about to pass $50 million at the worldwide box office, already making it one of the top five highest grossing horror movies of the year. NEON’s cryptic marketing campaign has been working like a charm for the last several months, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down even in the wake of the movie’s release on the big screen a couple weeks ago.
On that note, they’ve uploaded a video this afternoon titled “Fire Fire Fire, Hiss – A Song from Longlegs,” which is creepily described as being “the last known musical recording by Dale Ferdinand Kobble before the voices took over.” That’s the character played by Nicolas Cage in the film, who becomes known by the moniker he signs his work with: “Longlegs.”
The three-minute recording sees Cage singing in character as Dale Ferdinand Kobble/Longlegs, and it’s as unsettling as you’re probably expecting. Give it a listen down below…

The serial killer horror movie marks the return of director Osgood Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Gretel & Hansel). Nicolas Cage stars alongside Maika Monroe.
In the film, “FBI Agent Lee Harker (Monroe) is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer (Cage). As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.”
Alicia Witt (“The Walking Dead”) and Blair Underwood (“American Crime Story”) also star.
