Naughty Dog hasn’t forgotten PS5 owners of The Last of Us Part I. The recent 1.03 patch not only squashes a few bugs, but also adds some previously PC-exclusive content in the form of cosmetics.
The recent release of the PC version of The Last of Us Part I on Steam featured new shirts for Ellie in the form of a Mortal Kombat II shirt (which Ellie plays in the HBO adaptation), along with a shirt inspired by HBO’s “The Wire”. The new patch simply brings over those shirts for PS5 owners.
The 1.03 patch also tweaks a few of the game’s mechanics, such as increasing the pump shotgun’s base fire rate and changing up melee attack damage. There are also a few accessibility changes with the patch.
Meanwhile, Naughty Dog is still trying to smooth out the rough PC launch of The Last of Us Part I, which has been plagued with bugs and issues of its own. The developer has already submitted several patches and hotfixes to remedy the game’s performance issues, with the most recent one fixing the camera jitter.
As for HBO’s adaptation, production will be moving to Vancouver for the second season, though no start date has been announced as of yet.
A new patch for the PS5 version of The Last of Us Part I is now available, including new @HBO t-shirt cosmetics for Ellie, as well as improvements and fixes to combat, accessibility, audio, and more.
