It still remains to be seen just when Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released. But as before with the fans, leave it to them to keep the original Bloodlines going with a new fan patch.
The latest version of the fan patch, version 11.1, not only fixes a bunch of existing bugs in Bloodlines, but also includes various tweaks to Bloodlines, including the restoration of a lot of unused content. That includes everything from new quests and levels, weapons and items, but also characters and dialogue. The patch even includes cut models, sounds and music.
If that’s still not enough to quench your bloodthirst, you can always check out the fan-made Prelude mod, which shows the events that lead up to the story of the original game.
As for just when Paradox Interactive will be giving us an update on Bloodlines 2? One hopes that we get some news sooner rather. Bloodlines 2 is currently being developed for for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Thanks to PCGamer for the heads up.
