Despite not having a nailed-down release date, Jenito Studios are still giving fans of the upcoming Limerick: Cadence Mansion some love with a new developer walkthrough trailer. Released during the MIX Next showcase, the trailer gives fans all new look at solo developer Daniel Hall’s Unreal Engine 5 powered horror game ahead of its release later this Fall.
The video introduces players to the eponymous Cadence Mansion. It’s here players will have to solve a series of puzzles, outwit the various creatures that inhabit the island, and manage a host of limited resources – all while being stalked by the cursed marionette Limerick.
“With Limerick: Cadence Mansion I wanted to create an original take on the horror genre that takes inspiration from a lot of my favorite horror games and immersive worlds,” said Jenito Studios’ Daniel Hall. “There’s the action, resource management and puzzles of Resident Evil, the deep worldbuilding of games like Prey and Bioshock, and the run-and-hide encounters of something like Alien: Isolation or Amnesia: The Dark Descent. My goal was for all these elements to come together to create something entirely unique.”
Limerick: Cadence Mansion is currently in development for PC via Steam. A demo is also available to download.
