Saber Interactive has churned out another update for World War Z: Aftermath with update 1.48, bringing with it a new free content drop in “Holy Terror”. Alongside the usual bug fixes, the update adds a new Horde Mode XL map, new weapons, perks, and more.
The “Holy Terror” Update adds Rome as a new Horde Mode XL map, as well as 9 new perks for classes, 12 new mutators (mutators from the Horde Mode Challenge can now be used in private lobbies, as well), alongside the Repeating Rifle and Multi-Shot Rocket Launcher.
The update also tweaks a few quality of life aspects, including the addition of a Quick Match search option for Horde Mode and Horde Mode XL, and allowing the Gunslinger, Fixer, Medic and Slasher classes to be added to bots. There are also performance tweaks for consoles, as well as the addition of new DualSense Haptic Feedback effects for PC and PlayStation 5.
And for those who have money to burn, the update also has new paid DLC cosmetics in the Victory Lap Weapon Skins Pack.
World War Z: Aftermath is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
