Those of you who have taken a pause over the holidays playing MystiveDev’s Mirror Forge will be happy to know that the team has released a brand-new update to the game. In addition to addressing bug fixes, the update also includes tweaks to the game that will provide more scares for the player.
For starters, the version 1.1.2 Update adds things such as a 1200×800 resolution option for those playing Mirror Forge on the Steam Deck, as well as an mouse invert option. Quality of life improvements include things ranging from an additional checkpoint in the Industrial Zone Facility after the first puzzle, to a larger icon sphere and an interaction icon to the Statue in the house in the Prison Dimension.
Tweaks include changing up the intensity of the Flashlight and Lighter, as well as “additional AI in the city of Goreburg” and more. The notes also say that MystiveDev has added “several scares throughout the entire game”.
Published by DreadXP, developed by Bobby “MystivDev” Mojsovski, and inspired by genre-favorites such as Silent Hill and Netflix’s Stranger Things, Mirror Forge “blends sci-fi and psychological horrors into a game where players journey through realities constructed by fear, madness, and machinery.”
Currently available on Steam, Mirror Forge will also be headed to itch.io and the Epic Games Store at a later date.
