John Hoffman has previously written for Maximum Rocknroll, Revolver and Cvlt Nation, and has been involved in the punk/hardcore/metal scene since 1998. John has toured around the world as a vocalist for the hardcore band Weekend Nachos, and currently self-produces the doom metal band Stomach. He lives in Geneva, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, with his wife Destynne and his daughter Grace. Besides writing and playing music, John enjoys all types of food and video games from the 80’s and 90’s. OIL SPILL is his first book.
