Patrick Lussier, editor of Scream 1-3, New Nightmare, & Halloween H20, and director of My Bloody Valentine 3D, Drive Angry 3D, and the more recent Trick, is back behind the camera on his next horror entry.
There are no details available, but Lussier teases production is underway on Play Dead, presumably a brand new horror feature that would be his first since the Halloween-themed Trick, released back in 2019.
Lussier also recently directed an episode of Blumhouse’s “The Purge” series, MTV’s “Scream”, and the 2018 “Into the Dark” episode Flesh & Bone. Previously he also helmed the Dracula 2000 trilogy for Dimension Films, as well as White Noise 2: The Light.
No other info was provided, but we’ll keep you posted when we learn more, including casting.
