New Line Cinema’s fresh vision of Stephen King’s IT became one of the few cinematic horror events in the past few decades and with it came the birth of a new take on an icon, Pennywise, who is being immortalized as a new Hot Toys figure.
Sideshow shared new details, images and an unboxing video of the Pennywise 1/6 Scale Figure from Hot Toys— inspired by Bill Skarsgård‘s nightmarish appearance in It: Chapter Two.
“Nearly three decades after the Losers Club defeated Pennywise, he has returned to terrorize their dreams once more. The Losers may have grown up and gone their separate ways, but when people once again start disappearing they must come together to destroy Pennywise once and for all…
“This figure features two newly developed hand-painted head sculpts of Pennywise — one featuring a smiling head sculpt and the other a fanged head sculpt revealing layers of pointed teeth — and his signature outfit has been tailored and meticulously weathered to capture even the most intricate details,” explains the press release.
“The Pennywise Sixth Scale Figure comes with an array of accessories including his infamous red balloon, a creepy Pennywise Jack-in-the-Box, a sculpted paper boat, a skateboard, a severed arm, and a specially designed sewer grate diorama base.”
