Physical media junkies will be pleased to have another one to add to their shelves, thanks to Funbox Media Ltd announcing that they’ll be producing and distributing a physical version of Invader Studios’ Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle. The physical version Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle will be made available for PlayStation and Xbox consoles the same day that the digital version is released on August 30. A physical Nintendo Switch version is also planned for release later this year.
The third-person story-driven survival horror game prequel to the critically acclaimed Daymare: 1998, Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle puts the player in the shoes of special agent Dalila Reyes, a former government spy, now in the service of the H.A.D.E.S. (Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search). Reyes’ mission seems simple: enter the most advanced experimental research facility in the United States. But who knows what dangers await her.
A perfect mix of fierce and deadly enemies, hardcore action game mechanics, environmental puzzles, a chilling soundtrack, plenty of exploration, and massive doses of concentrated horror wait for you in Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle. No place is safe, especially when you’re being hunted by your nightmares.
Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle will launch for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. You can pre-order you physical copy from Funbox’s store page.
Currently, there is a free demo available on the game’s Steam page.
