In another case of an online store pulling a “whoopie”, the PlayStation Store had apparently leaked the release date of March 24th for Tango Gameworks’ Ghostwire: Tokyo. Spotted by MP1st, the listing for the title has now been scrubbed by the store, but not before screenshots were snagged.
While this may indeed be a mistake on Sony’s part (and is to be taken as unofficial until a proper announcement), that March release date does coincide the previous timeline of “Spring 2022”. We’ll have to see if Bethesda will make an announcement soon regarding the date.
Per the original PlayStation Store listing, Ghostwire: Tokyo centres on Tokyo, where deadly supernatural forces, perpetrated by a dangerous occultist, have caused Tokyo’s population to vanish. The player must ally with a powerful spectral entity on their quest for vengeance and master a powerful arsenal of abilities to unravel the dark truth behind the disappearances.
