With the second and third chapters for Poppy Playtime now available on Xbox and PlayStation, where’s the love for the Nintendo Switch? The answer is on October 31, when not only Poppy Playtime Chapter 2: Fly in a Web and Chapter 3: Deep Sleep arrive on the Nintendo eShop (pre-orders are open now), but also on the Epic Games Store!
Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 will cost $9.99 on the Switch, while Chapter 3 will cost $14.99. In addition, Chapter 3 will also be available on mobile on October 31, setting you back $4.99.
In Chapter 2, after your run-in with Huggy Wuggy and freeing Poppy, you must descend deeper into the Playtime Co. toy factory. That means more challenging puzzles and horrific toys such as Bunzo Bunny and PJ Pug-a-Pillar await. Your You must grapple, swing, and power your way to safety. Luckily for you, your GrabPack gains some new abilities. Try to escape, and don’t let Mommy Long Legs find you.
Meanwhile, the third chapter sees you in a decrepit orphanage known as Playcare sits beneath the once magical toy factory. You must make your way through this haunted place, solving new puzzles and avoiding the nightmares that lurk within the dark. Poppy Playtime‘s biggest and most terrifying chapter yet, new horrors await, and they’re much more than just simple toys.
Poppy Playtime and its three chapters are also available on PC via Steam. The fourth chapter will arrive on Steam this January.
And speaking of the fourth chapter, Mob Entertainment has just dropped a new teaser for the upcoming chapter, giving fans a glimpse of the Thing-like Yarnaby (you’ll see), one of the new characters found in the upcoming chapter.
