As if there wasn’t already a ton of horror headed our way on the road to Halloween, Disney+ has announced this week that their anthology series “Just Beyond” will debut in October.
Based on R.L. Stine‘s comic book series, the eight episode “Just Beyond” will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on October 13, 2021, with *all episodes* dropping on that day.

The series hails from writer/showrunner Seth Grahame-Smith (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) and 20th Century Fox Television. Stine serves as co-executive producer, with Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man) directing two episodes. Cast includes Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Afterlife) and Lexi Underwood (The First Lady).
“I grew up watching Twilight Zone reruns and the original Amazing Stories with my parents,” Grahame-Smith said in a statement last year. “I’ve always wanted to make a genre anthology series that families could enjoy together, and do it in a way that delivered for kids and adults alike. R.L. Stine has been a part of millions of childhoods, and Disney+ has already proven itself as a place that knows how to make high-quality shows for the whole family. I couldn’t be more excited to be working with both of them.”
