Team17 and Black Salt Games have announced that pre-orders for the upcoming Lovecraftian fishing adventure DREDGE are now available on PC via Steam and on console. On top of that, as promised when first revealed, there’s also a demo for you Nintendo Switch players to sink your teeth into in order to get a taste for the game.
Along with the pre-orders for the regular version of the game, there’s also the Digital Deluxe Edition of DREDGE, which includes the base game, the digital soundtrack, an artbook, and the Blackstone Key DLC. The DLC adds the Arterial Engine and Sign of Ruin to the game.
If that’s not enough, there will be a Physical Deluxe Edition of the game for consoles, which is also now available for pre-order at participating retailers. This edition includes a physical poster, the DREDGE artbook and sticker set, the game’s digital soundtrack, and the Blackstone Key DLC.
In DREDGE, you play as a down-on-their-luck fisherman. Someone has tasked you with digging up the past. In order to do so, you’ll have to explore a collection of remote islands while scouring the surrounding waters for a fish and valuable, deep-sea curiosities. However, as you do, you soon discover that there’s something more dangerous than the rocks and shallow reefs lurking in the dark waters at night.
DREDGE arrives on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC on March 30th. While you wait for the demo to download, check out Harrison’s preview of the game.
