In case you were wondering about the console release of Softstar Entertainment’s The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation (particularly after the release of the trailer for the sequel last week), Eastasiasoft Limited has announced pre-orders for a limited physical release of Road to Salvation for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders will open on Thursday, July 13th at 11:00am ET/8:00am PT, courtesy of Playasia.
The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation will still be getting a digital release on the Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. However, those who spring for the physical release will get some additional goodies alongside the game. Those goodies include the game’s printed manual, soundtrack CD, art book and a numbered certificate in a collector’s box. If you’re not keen on having the extra stuff, you can also just order a standard physical copy of Road to Salvation.
Based on 2020 film The Bridge Curse by Lester Hsi, the story for The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation sees you exploring the events surrounding one of Taiwan’s best-known supernatural incidents at Tunghu University. When six college students challenge the urban legend of a lingering female ghost as part of their “bravery initiation test”, they awaken a curse that no one knows how to break. Players will need to be stealthy to avoid the murderous ghost as they piece together the mystery and find a way to escape the campus.
The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation is currently out now on Steam.
