Feardemic Games has announced that they’ll finally be bringing NC Studio’s procedural survival horror game Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward to consoles. Originally released for PC via Steam back in 2021 (after spending a bit of time in Early Access), Project Nightmares will arrive on PlayStation and Xbox on April 27th.
Taking a cue from Tarsem Singh’s The Cell, the game centres on Project Nightmares, a group of scientists who have dedicated themselves to studying the paranormal. The group have developed a machine that allows them to induce sleep in a patient with psychic abilities in order to connect the human mind with supernatural objects in order to discover, investigate and ultimately defeat the evil within. In this instance, the group is investigating a patient named Henrietta Kedward, and a toy with a sinister history attached to it.
Players will play through the case of Henrietta Kedward, connecting with the old woman through the malignant toy. You’ll find yourself in a nightmare set during her lifetime, surrounded by terror and mystery. While inside the nightmare, you’ll never know what’s going to happen next, even on multiple playthroughs as the game constantly shifts, taking advantage of its procedurally-generated elements.
