Those itching for more info on Buckshot Software’s upcoming Project Warlock II can now head on over to the game’s Kickstarter page, where the game has already reached its funding goals. That’s not to say that there aren’t stretch goals to be met, which there are still plenty available (along with backer perks).
In addition, Buckshot Software and publisher Retrovibe have launched the game’s Steam page, where you can wishlist the game (which is due out in 2022), as well as play the demo.
The story for Project Warlock II picks up right after the events of the first game, with the original Warlock missing, leaving their three disciples to find them. You’ll have to go through an army of demons to find the Warlock, however. Luckily, you’ve got an arsenal of guns and magic weapons to clean house.
Each disciple wields their own particular style of magic, resulting in their respective episodes having unique skills, perks, arsenal and settings. Not to mention each episode having its own distinct set of enemies.
And unlike the first game, Project Warlock II does have the ability save your game. That being said, you’ll still have to be smart about your surroundings, as your foes are relentless in their pursuit of your blood.
