Developer Wrong Organ’s surreal psychological horror title Mouthwashing will be seeing a release on Steam on September 26. The news comes after a new trailer was released during Gamescom, and after Wrong Organ had released a demo for the game back in May (which is still very much available).
Mouthwashing centres on the crew of Pony Express’s interplanetary freighter Tulpar. When the freighter goes off course, its five crew members find themselves stranded with a diminishing supply of resources. Faced with the threat of starvation and the crippling isolation that comes with being stranded, the crew must fight back paranoia and hallucinations as they come to realize the question is not whether they will survive, but when they will perish… and who will be responsible.
Along with the inescapable isolation of wandering the corridors of the Tulpar, Mouthwashing features immersive storytelling, where every detail tells a story. That includes uncovering the truth about your captain, your crew, and your cargo. Question everything, trust nothing. Not even your own mind.
