An upcoming limited series, Shudder has announced Queer for Fear: The History of Queer Horror this afternoon, the project exec produced by “Hannibal” creator Bryan Fuller!
The four-part docuseries is coming later this year, we’re told.
Queer for Fear is said to “explore the influence of the LGBTQ community throughout the horror genres.”
Fuller said during a panel today, “As queer people we are considered outside of society & horror is outside of society. What it means to not be accepted by society but have a soul.”
