Remedy reports that not only has their superb sci-fi thriller Control reached over 10 million users, but they’ve begun work on that new game with Epic Games doing the publishing duties that may be another Alan Wake title.
All of this comes from the developer’s latest financial report, which has seen their revenue increased from this time last year. “The cash position has provided us with stronger means to execute our strategy and carry out our ambitious long-term growth plans.”
Remedy currently has several irons in the fire, with a multiplayer spin-off of Control (codenamed “Condor”) that’ll be published by 505 Games, as well as a big-budget Control game that’s currently in the early concept phase.
“Control continues to reach new players, expands into new games, and is a strong proof of our ability to create category defining games and brands. Our multi-project model is continuously developing and we are approaching a phase where we can launch new games more often and more regularly. We are on track to reach our ambitious long-term growth objectives.”
Control is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
