A mysterious countdown timer has appeared on Capcom’s official site. And while that might not necessarily mean much to some, at the same time, the Japanese Resident Evil (aka Biohazard) portal has something funny going on with its own countdown timer.
The countdown timer is set to end on February 20 at 10pm PT / February 21 at 1am ET, with no indication as to what it’s counting down. At the same time, the countdown on the official Biohazard website has it expiring February 15 at 4pm JST / 2am ET. While the two appear to be unrelated, one can’t be too careful.
As for what Capcom’s reveal is on the Resident Evil site, you’ve got your upcoming Resident Evil Village DLC, your still-not-announced Resident Evil 4 remake, and the perpetually-delayed Resident Evil RE:Verse.
Again, speculation is the name of the game, so we’ll have to wait.
Oh, there's something suspicious activity going on at the Resident Evil portal…
It seems that this was the reason why all the staff around me worked busy lately. There's something going on tomorrow at 4PM(JST), so we hope you all enjoy it!#REBHFun pic.twitter.com/tiwvlAhTI5— RESIDENT EVIL/BIOHAZARD PORTAL Official (@REBHPortal) February 14, 2022
