Those 10th anniversary upgrades to Blue Isle Studios’ Slender: The Arrival announced back in July finally have a locked-in release date. Starting October 18, players can jump back into the game with completely reimagined visuals on Steam. Pre-orders are also now open for this revisualized version of Slender: The Arrival, which also has a new gameplay teaser.
You’re probably wondering about that pre-order bit. That’s because Slender: The Arrival will be coming to current-gen consoles for the very first time! You can pre-order the game today on the Xbox Series for $19.99USD, followed by the PlayStation 5 at the same price on September 19. As a pre-order bonus, Blue Isle Studios is giving out a free copy of Valley with all pre-orders.
“It’s been 10 years since the original launch and we’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to improve and add to the game. There are many more Slender Man stories to tell, and we cannot wait to deliver on these experiences,” says Alex Tintor, Co-Founder & Lead Designer at Blue Isle Studios.
Meanwhile, keep an eye out for Blue Isle Studios’ announced follow-up to Slender: The Arrival in S: Lost Chapters, which touts itself as “a brand new type of horror”, with a narrative that features a mix of new and old stories.
